Our Code of Ethics sets out the basic principles to guide and assist all employees of the Company to in understanding and complying with their legal obligations. Conflict of Interest:
This Policy provides rules and guidelines to understand and disclose a potential Conflict of Interest. Our employees are required to annually submit the online conflict of interest disclosure form.
OCI is committed to ensure that our financial interests or personal relationships do not conflict with our day-to-day responsibilities and with our ability to execute our job duties with professionalism, ethics, and transparency.
Gifts & Entertainment:
Disclosures of giving or receiving gifts and entertainment from and to any third party are thoroughly assessed to mitigate any risks related to any form of bribery or corrupt practices.
OCI has zero-tolerance towards any form of bribery and corruption.
Anti-Corruption:
The purpose of this Policy is to provide guidance and rules of conduct to ensure that all OCI employees and third parties representing the Company understand their obligation to act ethically and to behave with the highest level of personal and professional integrity, to ensure compliance with Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Laws and refrain from engaging in any corrupt practices or behaviour, as well as to identify and report any bribery and corruption concerns.
Trade Controls and Sanctions Guidelines:
Oman Cables Industry, a publicly listed company in Muscat Securities Market in the Sultanate of Oman is committed to operate in-line with all applicable rules and regulations, locally and internationally. This commitment is extended to the trade compliance requirements. Thus, OCI is committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of robust trade compliance guidelines that integrates compliance activities into OCI’s business processes. We also comply with all applicable economic sanctions’ laws and regulations against certain countries, persons, and entities.
We do not enter into any business transaction or other dealing, directly or indirectly, contrary to applicable sanctions’ laws and regulations and with any person or entity considered to be a Prohibited Party. We conduct our business in-line with applicable regulations on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism and with proper due diligence.
Guidelines on Anti-Trust:
These guidelines demonstrate our commitment to operating in line with all applicable rules and regulations, locally with the Competition Law in the Sultanate of Oman and other regulations that follow, and internationally.
Based on this, OCI is committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of competition and anti-trust guidelines that integrates compliance activities into OCI’s business processes.
